Pertti Hasanen is the founder of The Pertti Hasanen Hockey Academy. He has been hired as a full time Development and skills coach by New Jersey Devils. His primary role is to help run skill development sessions for prospects to help develop players into future NHL-ers.
Pertti has been coaching hockey teams and developing players since 1979, where he started coaching the Tappara Junior organization. His experience spans the globe, serving as head coaches to a number of European professional teams, including Italy, Norway and Finland. He has acted as an assistant coach to the Boston University Terriers and UMass Lowell Riverhawks, as well as the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League. Pertti’s special eye for evaluating talent helped him during his stints as European Head Scout for the LA Kings and Calgary Flames.
Pertti knows what it takes to make it to the professional level. He has experimented and mastered with various unconventional methods to developing player skills that are necessary to top performance. His method for training is completely original and is not found anywhere else in the world. Over the past few years, he has gained extreme recognition by professional teams for his ability to quickly develop player’s skills. He has been flown out to run camps for the Dallas Stars, Pittsburg Penguins, and Boston Bruins.

Bill O’Neill
Bill O’Neill is the head coach for the Division III Salem State Vikings and former Boston University Terrier. He is the longest serving head coach in Salem State history, with 31 years and recently, 500+ wins.
Bill is a co-founder of the Pertti Hasanen Hockey Academy. After seeing Pertti’s one of a kind training methodology, he immediately saw an opportunity to change the way hockey players develop. He has a passion for the game of hockey and teaching players. His positive attitude on the ice and attention to detail allow him to truly help each and every player he encounters.
Mike Grier
Mike Grier is a former Boston University terrier and retired forward in the National Hockey League (NHL). Mike played 14 seasons, 1,060 games in the NHL for the Edmonton Oilers, Washington Capitals, Buffalo Sabers, and San Jose Sharks.

Jay Pandolfo
Jay Pandolfo is an invaluable member of our staff whose understanding of the game and ability to connect with players adds tremendous value to the camp. The Boston Bruins recognized his instructing talents and work ethic as well, naming him Director of Player Development in 2014. He was recently hired as a Boston Bruins development coach.
Jay is a retired forward of the National Hockey League. He spent the majority of his career with the New Jersey Devils, playing from 1996-2010 and winning two Stanley Cups in 2000 and 2003. He spent his final year with the Boston Bruins in 2011, where he won his third Stanley Cup. Jay played his college years at Boston University, earning All-American and Hockey East Player of the Year awards.
Mike Geragosian, one of the most experienced and technical goaltender coaches, has developed several professional players and college All-Stars. Presently, Mike is the Goalie Coach at Hockey East’s Boston University and is Director of Goaltending for USA Hockey – MA. He consults goaltenders and coaches at all levels throughout the nation. In addition to his present affiliation with Boston University, Mike has also coached at Merrimack College, UMass Lowell, and Princeton University. He is a national consultant for professional, college, and USA Hockey. Mike has his Masters degree and has been an educator for over 25 years. He is also a scout for the Chicago Black Hawks.
An All-East goaltender himself, Mike continues to produce the finest collegiate goaltenders in the country. Several of his protégé have become All-American goaltenders and have played at the professional level for Calgary, Winnipeg, Pittsburg and Buffalo.
Mike has teamed up with The Pertti Hasanen Hockey Academy to create a dynamic relationship between the top players and goalies in the nation. Goaltenders at the All-American Goaltending Camp have the added benefit to go up against the best talent in the nation that attend The Pertti Hasanen Hockey Academy.
